Store it! Tote it!

For cocktail enthusiasts, one of the greatest challenges is taking your show on the road. Your bottles are clanging around and getting warm, your glasses are clinking and are in danger of chipping and cracking, and worst of all your tools are a mess in the bottom of a bag. We have had moderate success using the reusable bottle totes, but they offer very little protection to glassware since the fabric is so thin.
There are certainly some very $$$ options out there for portable bars, but our budget is more like $. So we spent a little time finding options that are reasonable and useful.

We like Household Essentials storage chests for our glasses. They come in a variety of styles so our wine glasses and cocktail glasses are protected regardless of shape. They are basically canvas covered cardboard boxes with dividers, a lid, and a plastic window so you can see the contents. They are not super high end like other stemware storage chests, but they get the job done at a reasonable price. They can be easily found at big box stores or online.

For our bottles we have two totes, the Picnic Time Cellar Insulated 6 bottle tote and the Wine Enthusiast Neoprene 3 bottle tote. Both bags have pockets that hold our tools quite nicely. The neoprene bag comes with a chiller pack and the 6 bottle tote has adjustable dividers which make it easier to accommodate extra wide bottles.

Cheers!
